ECOFEST Nigeria Presents Gorgeous and Green Gala

The Oriental Hotel Lagos, on the 23rd of June, 2012 , will play host to eco-luminaries, celebrities, politicians, leaders from the technology, banking, telecoms, oil & gas and media sectors, in Nigeria’s premier green lifestyle events tagged Gorgeous and Green Gala.

The Gorgeous and Green Benefit is a fundraiser for the Planting for Peace; 155 Million Tree Campaign, which aims to fight the ravaging effects of climate change in Nigeria.

It also provides companies and individuals with the perfect avenue to promote their eco-products, interact with some of the country’s well-known advocates for the environment, and expose their commitment to sustainable business and manufacturing practices in a more eco-friendly manner.

This glamorous Green Carpet event promises a gourmet dining experience by Celebrity Chef Bilal Jamal Eddine, an Eco-Fashion show by renowned fashion designer, Mr. Adebayo Jones, with A-List Nollywood Actors, Musicians and Models walking the Runway. There will also be live musical performances from some of Nigeria’s finest Artistes.

Special guests of honour include; Hon. Minister of Environment, Mrs. Hadiza Mailafa, Hon. Minister of Tourism, Chief Edem Duke, Gov. Liyel Imoke of Cross River State, Sen. Bukola Saraki, Mrs. Abimbola Fashola , Prince Tonye Princewill  & Chief Dele Momodu.
