Of recent, the Nigerian football management Job can be described as one of the most difficult and unstable of jobs out there, and yet one of the most sort after Jobs. Various coaches have come and gone in last eighteen years due to their inability to guide the country to her glory days of football notably, 1994 African Nations and World Cup success.
Recent acquisition of the Captain of the 1994 winning squad brings forth a feeling that at last there may be light at the end of the tunnel for a country that was once eliminated in the first round of FIFA 2010 world cup hosted in South Africa. Keshi, who had previously held technical adviser position in two different countries, has vowed to bring the Super Eagles back to winning ways after acquiring experience both as former Captain and coaching African countries with limited world class players. It remains to be seen if he will be the last in the next two years knowing that, Samson Siasia, who had achieved quite some success in the under aged Teams, was Booted out following his failure to qualify Nigeria for last African Cup of Nations held in Gabon early this year.
