CareerShift for Busy Professionals Featuring Fela Durotoye and Jimi Tewe

The difference between desire and action can be likened to the distinction between life and death. Desiring change without taking the required action will result in seeing your dreams die, while you are yet alive. Concerning your career or business, to bring your dreams and vision to life, you have to work at it.

The difference between desire and action can be likened to the distinction between life and death. Desiring change without taking the required action will result in seeing your dreams die, while you are yet alive. Concerning your career or business, to bring your dreams and vision to life, you have to work at it.

It’s not enough to want a positive change in your career. Most times you must take positive steps to make it a reality. These steps may include buying books, listening to teachings or, probably, even career counselling with a trusted mentor or professional. It can also include attending events where you can listen to lectures by career experts and network with like-minded professionals.

One of such events is here. CareerShift with Jimi Tewe and Fela Durotoye holds this Thursday and Friday, 21st and 222nd of June, 2012. The event is tagged as one for “busy professionals”, and organisers have taken that into good consideration as the starting time is 6:30 p.m. This gives ample time for busy workers to finish up work and get to the venue in time. The registration fee is just N5000. As Jimi Tewe quoted Steve Harris in one of his messages: “What’s your excuse?”
