Osaze Odemwingie and cohorts slumped to defeat at Villa Park. The Nigerian played just 55 minutes of the game before he was pulled out for Frazier Campbell.

CHELSEA 2-2 WEST BROM

John Mikel Obi and Victor Anichebe were second half substitutes for their respective teams.

Mikel replaced Cesar Azilicupeta at the 73rd minute, while Anichebe replaced Benin international, Stephane Sessegnon, who had scored earlier in the 81st minute.

A 96-minute penalty from Eden Hazard ensured a 2-2 draw.

LIVERPOOL 4-0 FULHAM

Victor Moses replaced Daniel Sturridge at the 76th minute in an easy win against London side, Fulham. Luis suarez grabbed the headlines with a brace.

SOUTHAMPTON 4-1 HULL

Sone Aluko missed his side’s thrashing at St. Mary’s stadium through injury. Steven Bruce would be praying for his quick recovery to salvage them from their recent slump.

TOTTENHAM 0-1 NEWCASTLE

After taking Chelsea’s scalp last week, Shola Ameobi and Newcastle defied all odds to beat Spurs at White Hart Lane. Loic Remy, the hero of Chelsea win, grabbed the only goal of the game

Shola’s younger brother, Sammy didn’t make the Newcastle squad for the game.
