Liverpool 5-1 Arsenal

Jordan Ibe was a 76th minute substitute for Steven Gerrard in Liverpool’s mauling of Arsenal at Anfield on Saturday. Victor Moses, who played no part in the game, was on the bench throughout the duration.

Chelsea 3-0 Newcastle

Mikel Obi and Shola Ameobi were unused substitutes for their respective teams whilst Sammy Ameobi played all 90 minutes for Newcastle. The win took Chelsea to the summit of the league table with 56 points, deposing Arsenal to second place by one point difference.

Crystal Palace 3-1 West Brom

Victor Anichebe played all 90 minutes for the Baggies but couldn’t stop them from losing to the struggling Crystal Palace. West Brom are rooted in the bottom three.

Southampton 2-2 Stoke City

Osaze Odemwingie scored his first goal for his new club in his second full game. He’s made an immediate impact since his winter move from Cardiff City.

Sunderland 0-2 Hull

Sonie Aluko returned to Hull City’s squad after a lengthy injury layoff. He replaced Croat, Nikica Jelavic who scored Hull’s second goal in the 78th minute.

Norwich 0-0 Man City

Former Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo, put up a tremendous display in defence alongside Sebastian Bassong in his full Norwich debut on Saturday shutting out Man City’s attack that has scored over 100 goals this season.
