A Commonwealth scholarship is a very prestigious and highly competitive scholarship for citizens of commonwealth countries. In 2007, she received a master’s degree in International Legal Studies from Stanford University, USA, the same institution where she thereafter received a doctorate degree in International Trade and Development.

Before her appointment as a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Lagos, Dr. Odutola worked briefly both at FCMB and Guaranty Trust Bank. As a lecturer, she is a member of the senate committee of the University of Lagos. She is also the 2013-2015 Prince Clause Chair holder for the Netherlands.

One major lesson from the profile of Dr. Oduwole is hardwork. She built a successful career and recognition for herself through resilience, diligence, dedication and hardwork. Her profile is enough motivation for all youths, not just the ones studying or practising law. She is an example of what happens when you are focused on being the best you can be.
