Health Benefits of Honey and Walnuts

Walnuts in combination with honey are an excellent natural remedy that can replace many types of medication. This combination provides the body with all necessary vitamins, minerals, protein, fats and carbohydrates.

Walnuts alone are an excellent source of anti-inflammatory omega-3 essential fatty acids, in the form of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). Walnuts are also rich in antioxidants, including being a very good source of manganese and copper. They are also a good source of molybdenum and the B vitamin biotin.

Honey, on the other hand, contains Vitamin B6, niacin, thiamine, pantothenic acid, and riboflavin. Honey also contains minerals such as copper, calcium, iron, manganese, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, sodium, and zinc.

However, percentages present will vary according to the floral type of the honey.

These two separately have an amazing effect on our body’s health, but together they do a lot more than we can imagine.

Preparation

Preparing this combo is very easy, you just have to crush half a kilogram of walnuts and mix with half a kilogram of honey. Add some lemon juice. Mix them. Store the mixture in a jar, and consume a teaspoon, three times a day.

What this Combo will do for You

It’s great for strengthening the blood. It is also an excellent solution for anaemic people.

This combination also cures headaches.

And can be a very good substitute for pills.

Make a mixture of honey and crushed walnuts and consume 1-2 tablespoons a day.

This can help you with insomnia and can also cure stomach ulcers if taken rightly.
