OLX, a classified ads platform, launches a web app that will replace its website and mobile app.
The web app is a step in the global world to solidify OLX’s number one position. This move comes after reports of its shutting down operations in Kenya and Nigeria following the alleged rumors battling the platform.
According to a statement made by the organization, the platform would guarantee an easier faster, safer and more local way of buying and selling used goods for new and existing users. It is even adding a level of new security to detract potential scammers and fraudsters from the platform.
According to nairalist, the new features would create a safer platform for Nigerians to buy and sell, saying that the additional security would give users the most secure experience when trading through the OLX.
