Top 5 Websites For Real Estate

With the advent of technology, Nigerians no longer have to go through the tedious process of scouting for landed property for sale or rent.

Several real estate websites have appeared on the scene to make property trade easier through the use of the internet. Nigerians can now breathe because property has never been easier to find and can now be traded at the touch of a screen and in reasonable time.

Find below some of the best real estate websites in Nigeria that offer quality service:

Zoomek is the pioneer of real estate companies in Nigeria. The main aim of Zoomek is to provide clients with the easiest possible ways of finding both international and local homes for rent or sale. Zoomek is among the top-notch property websites in Nigeria because it not only offer property listings, but also provides tutorials and lessons on property and real estate market. There are also verified agents on the site that help clients search for properties.

Lamudi operates in several parts of Asia, Africa, and Latin America. The company is part of the Rocket Internet Family of online businesses. Lamudi is the second largest real estate website in Nigeria. The website provides the information on the latest developments in real estate and connects clients with agents.

Nigeria Property Centre

Nigerian Property Centre has an in-depth coverage of over 20,000 properties in about 240 localities in Nigeria. They are not directly involved in the transaction process between agents and customers. In order to make this workable, Nigerian Property Centre has a system in place where properties listed for rent are unpublished from the site after 30 days while properties for sale are left for a maximum of 90 days before they are unpublished. In this way properties which exceed the specified duration for viewing are taken down, even if agents forget to remove them. The agents are also notified on such activities via email.

Private Property

Private Property is the fourth most popular real estate website in Nigeria. It was founded by Oluwafemi Taiwo in October 2011. The website serves as a platform where landlords, estate agents, and buyer/renters can meet to make deals offline. With an influx of buyers and renters to the site, it is the ideal platform to advertise or buy property. Private Property boasts of over 1 million visits monthly, and over 120,000 listed properties.

Property 24

With over 10 years as an online property search portal, Property 24 remains a reliable real estate website in Nigeria. It has an impressive display of sellable and rentable houses, flats, farms, and lands from Nigeria’s best real estate agents. 21st May 2019 at 10:49 am I think is better than some of these website above simply because how easy it is to search and the simple layout of their property page. I think its a new company just launched though so maybe not so many properties yet but i like and it’s free for agents or landlords to list their properties unlike the other property websites who charge agents and landlords money to list their properties.
