Connect Nigeria’s TOP 100 SMEs: Bramo Digi

When Connect Nigeria kicked of its hunt for TOP 100 SMEs, it aimed to reveal the best of Nigeria’s emerging businesses to the world. These upcoming brands have recently been selected from a pool of enterprises numbering in the thousands; the painstaking work that revealed them is justified by the quality of businesses that have made the final list of a hundred- a variety of forward-looking, visibly popular and high performing brands.

Bramo Digi fits quite nicely into this general picture. It is a brand strategy and digital marketing agency with a socially conscious bent and a continent-wide focus. While it’s only been in existence for a couple of years, Bramo Digi has racked up more successes than its age makes us assume at first thought. Working on projects with 25 brands across four West African countries is no mean feat.

Bramo Digi was founded in 2016 by Abraham Ologundudu, a young Nigerian with a long persisting passion for digital technology. He says he created the agency to help businesses develop a strategy that could have “meaningful social impact” in the communities and regions which such businesses operate or consider their target market.

“Bramo Digi helps businesses and social leaders simplify digital media and technology for profit and social impact,” Ologundudu explains. “We primarily work with individuals, startups, NGOs, SMEs, and multinationals who fit this description based on certain indicators we developed internally.”

Ologundudu’s work with Bramo Digi builds upon years of experience with digital technology. He founded his first blog while he was fifteen, taught himself to code and design, and started a speaking career as a tech evangelist of sorts as a young adult. Soon, he was being nudged in the direction of launching a brand development agency.

“Few years later, I began receiving requests from businesses and leaders of organizations to share my knowledge and use my skills to solve their problem,” Ologundudu recounts. These calls inspired him to set up his business, one for which he has become fairly widely recognized.

Bramo Digi offers creative marketing, design and brand innovation services to clients from across Nigeria and beyond. It is assisting businesses in the task of adapting to their market’s ever-evolving relationship with modern communication channels. This work involves as much brand development as it does strategy; Bramo Digi renders both these services.

Ologundudu wants Bramo Digi to drive positive transformation in a rapidly changing world- the sort of transformation he’s seen in his own life. He believes technology can lift society to new heights of wealth and achievement.

“That is why what we do at Bramo Digi matters,” he says. “We are empowering leaders with the technology to create change.”
