Flyboy Inc boss, Kizz Daniel, has announced the label’s first set of signings: DemmieVee and Philkeyz.
The singer, who recently changed his name to Kizz Daniel following disputes with his former record label, made the unveiling on his social media pages, welcoming both artistes to the label about 24 hours after he released the tracklist for his soon to be released album, “No Bad Songz”
DemmieVee, whose real name is Philip Ahaiwe Chukwuja, also goes by the alias ‘Kalaputapikin’, meaning ‘Strong child’ – a name he was given to him by his friends for his duggedness. DemmieVee is a music producer and recording artist who has worked with some big names in the industry including Omawumi and Yemi Alade. His effort as a recording artist include Tiff, Forgive Me, and Life, released this year; Love Me Tender, Awesome God and Figure 8 were released in 2017.
Philkeyz is a celebrated music producer, record executive, and creative director who began his career as a church pianist. He was responsible for Omawumi’s Somori as far back as 2013, as well as Kiss Daniel’s single, No Do released last year. He also runs a video series called Afro-fusion Session where he shows fun studio sessions about how he makes music. Philkeyz is the CEO of PlatinumMusic, and was previously signed to Confam Entertainment as a recording artist.
Kiss Daniel’s Flyboy Inc started after he parted ways with former record label G-Worldwide. He has up until now been the only artist under the new label.
The singer, who came to the limelight after the release of his hugely succesful debut Woju, has a number of singles released under his label, and is set to release a 20-track album on a yet to be disclosed date.
