Mikel In Good Hands At Middlesborough

After an impressive performance for Middlesborough in last Saturday’s 3-2 win against West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns, Mikel Obi’s new boss cannot hide the excitement of having the player in his team.

Mikel has so far made only two appearances for Middlesborough since he signed a short term deal with the English football league club.

Boro’s manager, Tony Pulis, has lauded the superb skills of the Super Eagles skipper ahead of the team’s Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round replay against Newport County on Tuesday at 8:45pm WAT, at the Rodney Parade Stadium.

He was fantastic. He looked a little bit tired at the end but he’s a great lad. The lads have taken to him,

He’s a great character in the dressing room and he’s got the quality you need.
