Asisat Oshoala has successfully proven her worth to Barcelona’s Women’s team two times in a row.
The Nigerian put up an amazing display of skill and strength in
her debut for the team, crowning her efforts with a goal.
In her second game for the team, Oshoala has taken her total goal
tally to 3 goals for Barcelona Femini.
Oshoala’s efforts, however, was not enough to help Lluis Cortés’ side extend their four match winning streak.

Huelva scored three goals in barely nine minutes to hand Barça their
first defeat of the season in the Liga
Iberdrola.
Oshoala opened scoring for Barça 16 minutes into the game as the Lluis Cortés’ side
took control of the game.
Soon after Oshoala had set the pace for the team, Leike Martens
and Hamraoui came close on good chances, but their efforts were not enough to
give Barça a solid lead.
In the second half, the Andalusians came into the game more determined than they were
before the restart. And their new zeal paid off exceedingly as they usurped
control of the game from Lluis Cortés’ side.
Raquel scored the equalizer in the 58th minute following a
defensive error. Three minutes later Anita gave Huelva the lead with a brisk header.s
An astounding counter attack gave Huelva a two goal lead, thanks to Flor in the 67th minute.
Oshoala got her brace in the 84th minute, but time was not on
Barça’s side as Huelva maintained the lead until the full-time whistle.
FC Barcelona Femini are now six points behind league leader, Atletico Madrid, who they will face in their next league game scheduled for Sunday, February 17.
