Super Falcons coach, Thomas Dennerby, has named 27 players for a final training camp in Austria ahead of the FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.
The global showdown which will feature 24 teams across the world, is expected to hold between June 7, and July 7, 2019.
Alongside three-time African Player of the Year and Barcelona star, Asisat Oshoala, who is gearing up to feature in this weekend’s Champions League final, Dennerby has also listed France-based Desire Oparanozie, and a host of other players who were very instrumental to helping Nigeria women’s team claim their 11th continental title in Ghana.
The Falcons are expected to depart Nigeria on May 20, for the Avita Resort in Bad Tatzmannsdorf – the same facility where the Super Eagles had their final base and training before the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Team Nigeria will depart Austria on June 4, and head straight for Reims, where they begin their World Cup campaign against Norway in another four days.
