There’s a global market for ebooks you can explore from where you are right now. If you are an expert in a particular niche, you can share your knowledge with the world by writing and publishing on topics in that area.

You may sell your ebook on Amazon through its Kindle Publishing program, and earn up to 70 percent of proceeds from every sale. The good thing is you don’t have to pay any registration fees to begin selling there.

2. Affiliate Marketing

If you have a blog, you could review certain products on it and include a link to an online store where they are sold. If anyone purchases that product through the link on your blog, you get a commission on that sale. This is how affiliate marketing works.

There are several companies offering affiliate marketing opportunities. Locally, there’s Jumia and Konga. You could also try the Amazon and Alibaba affiliate programs as well.

3. Adverts on Your Blog (Google Adsense)

      Hello Bibitayo,

Nigerians can and do sell products on Etsy. You can ascertain this for yourself by doing a quick search on the Etsy website.

While there have been issues with its payment systems (the primary means of payment are Paypal and Etsy’s own payment system, both of which aren’t available to Nigerians), There are ways around this. You can maintain a US Paypal business account through which you can receive payments from customers, and make withdrawals through a Payoneer account (Payoneer is supported in Nigeria).

The site says you can also “work with the buyer to arrange payments after purchase.”

We may put up an article that deals with this soon.

      Thanks.
