Low output and meager incomes have characterized the end of the farming season for many farmers in rural Nigeria.

Farm yields of cultivators in Nigeria and other parts of the African continent are dwarfed by those of their counterparts elsewhere in the world. Farmers’ Corner is structured in categorized community forums with which it aims to bridge the gap between relevant parties in agro-business including governments, farmers, agro-technology companies, extension officers, research bodies in Nigeria and Africa.

The ultimate goal of this structured arrangement is to increase and improve the yield of member farmers at the end of their farming seasons. It should also provide a local and international marketplace where interaction for the sale of their produce will be made.

Under this arrangement, there is an E-Library which serves as a repository where agriculture themed e-books and other related instructive materials are made available for farmers and other agribusiness functionaries. This makes it easy for them to stay informed about agricultural best practices.
