For over a decade, Mrs. Obuekwe has put her expertise at work, helping some of Nigeria’s well-known companies transform their public image and raise the quality of their communications with the audiences they target. Uju Obuekwe is a graduate of Law and has a Certificate in Corporate Innovation from the Stanford School of Business LEAD Program. She is also an alumnus of Pan Atlantic University’s Enterprise Development Center, and the African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative (she was part of its inaugural cohort).  

2. Top branding strategist

Mrs. Obuekwe is currently the Chief Strategy Officer at Platform Branding. In this capacity, she has helped numerous individuals and companies in the petroleum, banking, construction, fashion, and beverage industries to create and revamp their brands. Her work in this area has won her several awards, including a WEF (Women Economic Forum) Woman of Excellence Award in India, in 2019.

3. Member of several prominent organizations

Thanks to her vast knowledge and experience, she serves as a mentor at the Tony Elumelu Foundation. There, she mentors early-stage and established entrepreneurs, showing them how to build sustainable businesses and strong brands. She has also been appointed to the advisory board of FLLO Biz Support, an organization that provides financial and advisory services to women-owned SMEs.

4. Sought-after speaker on major conferences and workshops

Mrs. Obuekwe’s expertise has made her a widely sought-after speaker at business conferences and workshops. She has spoken at events organized by the Department of Petroleum Resources, Google Digital Skills Training, Women Economic Forum, the Nigerian Bar Association, and at the Connect Nigeria Business Fair.

5. Written insightful books about branding
