In Nigeria, technological advancement has led many youths to venture into IT, design, and data science. The downside, however, is that there is a lack of job opportunities for techies in these fields, in the country. This has forced many to seek employment abroad. WeJapa was set up to provide techies with access to lucrative jobs abroad. The app was launched on April 27, 2020.
