If you run a business and you’re seeking financial support to expand and strengthen it, here’s news you should take seriously.

For six years, the Tony Elumelu Foundation has organized an annual entrepreneurship programme, through which it has helped numerous African entrepreneurs with the training and funding they need to scale. Till date, they have provided over 9,000 businesspeople with $5,000 each in grants.

They will be carrying on with this philanthropic work in 2021. Thanks to a partnership with the European Union, they will be targeting an extra 2,500 people with grants of $5,000, as well as mentorship and global networking opportunities.

Applications for the programme will open on January 1st.

You could be among the grant winners. To do so, you’ll have to stand out from the thousands of applicants who are just as eager to clinch a place in the TEF Entrepreneurship Programme.

Thankfully, there’s a path to making this happen.

Faruk Biz Hub is organizing a one-day training event for persons interested in entering for the programme. The event will be hosted by Mohammed Faruk Suleiman, an agribusiness entrepreneur and alumnus of the Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme (2017).

Participants of the training event will receive a step-by-step guide to winning the $5,000 grant from TEF. They will benefit from the host’s practical experience with the programme and gain an edge over other potential applicants.

The Faruk Biz Hub training event will take place on January 3.

To apply for the training, send a Direct Message to @farukbizhub on Instagram to reserve your slot.
