Ikorodu Bois And Emmanuella Nominated In The 2021 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award


At a time when virtually everything in Nigeria seems so ‘bloom and gloom’, Online sensations, Ikorodu Bois and comedienne, Emmanuella have been nominated alongside other African stars in the 2021 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award.

Nigerian youngsters, Ikorodu Bois and Emmanuella, due to their unique, ingenious styles, and social media appeal, have been recognised and nominated by the American based company in the Favourite African Social Media Star category.

Ikorodu Bois who were gifted equipment by Netflix have received Hollywood recognition and recommendation over the past one year after mimicking top Hollywood movies and music videos such as Extraction, Money Heist, Roddy Rich’s ‘The Box’ will look to bag this award for all their effort of bringing something out of nothing. The group truly enforces the Nigerian spirit of never say never.

Also, Emmanuella who has been nominated in the Favourite African Star category alongside Davido in 2018 makes a comeback and will be hoping to clinch the award, this time around.

Together with them in this category are other African stars like social media magician Wiam Van den Berg (South Africa) and sensational youth dance group Ghetto Kids (Uganda), Elsa Majimbo (Kenya), and media personality Bonang Matheba (South Africa).

The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award is an American children’s awards held annually and produced by Nickelodeon. This year’s event will air live on Saturday, March 13 at 7:30 PM ET/PT.

Fans are able to cast their votes on the official Kids’ Choice Awards website,, and on the Screens Up app on supported iPad, iPhone and Android devices in the U.S. International fans can vote via the Nick Play app in regions where the app is available. Fans can also vote via social media on Twitter.
