In keeping with our recipe theme of healthy, rich and delicious foods, I bring you a refreshing fruit salad recipe. Fruits are one of the healthiest foods of all times. They provide essential nutrients for the maintenance of the body. Fruit salad can be made at any time of the year with the fruits that are available. This food can be enjoyed by people of all age groups. Pregnant women and those who have constipation issues especially should include this food in their meal plan.
Fruit salad is basically a meal made by mixing fruits. Some people use condensed milk as the base of this food but since I’m not a fan of milk, I prefer to use fruits like orange as my base. The salad can be quite colourful. I usually make mine with five or more fruits. The fruits that I selected for today’s recipe are some of my favourite. Feel free to remove any that is not to your taste or liking; you can replace it with something more suitable for you. Also, while the number of fruits I use depends on the number of people I’m preparing the food for, the taste of this food depends largely on the type of fruits used.

Ingredients for Fruit Salad
How to Prepare
Rinse the back of the fruits. Peel the back of the orange and squeeze the juice into a cup. Set it aside for later use.
Peel the back of the pineapple, watermelon and banana and cut them into small bits one after the other. Cut the apple too then mix the chopped fruits in a clean, sizeable bowl.
Pour the orange juice into the bowl. Cover it and put it in the fridge to chill. Serve chilled.
