Ronke Edoho is a nutritionist, blogger and author. She’s known for creating and running 9jafoodie, one of Nigeria’s most popular food blogs. Her social media posts cover traditional Nigerian dishes and modern ways to prepare and present them. She’s also enthusiastic about weight loss and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Ronke’s 9jafoodie brand is particularly active on Instagram, where she’s garnered over 330,000 followers. Her audience consists of women who are interested in improving their food preparation skills and persons trying to sustain a love for both local dishes and physical fitness.
She has to balance her content creator and social media influencer roles with her day job as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). But she’s managed to do this just fine; her brand has been around for a decade and it continues to power on.
As a certified clinical weight loss specialist, Ronke brings her understanding of health and nutrition to bear on her content creation efforts. On her Instagram page, she shares images and videos introducing her followers to healthy meals they could try out. She believes that these meals can fit in perfectly within a weight loss program if the consumers implement appropriate lifestyle changes.
This emphasis on lifestyle change is ubiquitous in Ronke’s presentation about healthy eating and weight loss. Her cookbook, Lose it Nigerian, tows this line, as does the plan which bears its name. She says the Lose it Nigerian (LIN) plan isn’t a regular diet plan, but a tool that can help Nigerians change their lifestyle for the better.
The LIN program details recipes and meal tables that its users can follow if they’re trying to lose weight. While on the program, they can learn new ways to cook, understand how food affects their bodies and ultimately achieve weight loss.
