The program is part of the bank’s role of building the capacity of Nigeria’s MSMEs and enabling them to sustain and scale their operations. This is in addition to the funding and risk-sharing facilities that the institution extends to small businesses in the country.

The DBN Entrepreneurship Training Program 2021 aims to imbue MSMEs with the skills and competencies they need to succeed in Nigeria’s business landscape and make them prepared to receive financial support from formal funding sources.

The program is organised in partnership with Google, Enterprise Development Center (EDC), Pan Atlantic University, and Wider Perspectives Limited (WPL).

Benefits

  • The opportunity to get funded.
  • Certificate of completion.
  • Advisory services from industry experts.

How The Program Will Unfold

The program will be divided into two stages (online and face-to-face training) and will last three months.

About 1,000 MSMEs will be selected to take a course, Fundamentals of Digital Marketing, which will be self-paced. The course will be available for one month (August 16 – September 10).
