Social Media Accounts To Follow: Members Of The Sweet Boys Association (SBA)

If you’ve been active on social media, you must have come across the phrase, Sweet Boy Association (SBA). The Sweet Boys Association is a term used to classify a prestigious group of men who have to follow a certain code of conduct and comport themselves in the best ways possible.

The association was created by Falz and comes with an ‘anthem’ and ‘presidential address’. So far, many celebrities have identified as members of this association. Here are some of them below:

Falana Folarin


Falana Folarin, better known as Falz, is the President of the SBA. Since he broke into the entertainment industry, he has made his name both as a music artist and a comedian. Through his sensational skits on Instagram, Falz has created some catchphrases like “Ello Bae” “Wehdone Sir” and the most recent ‘’Sweet Boy”.

Falz is also a political enthusiast as some of his songs depict the ills in the society. As the president of the Sweet Boys Association, Falz has given his speech addressing all present and prospective members of the group. He also has a laid down code of conduct for them to adhere to. Ohimai Atafo popularly known as Mai Atafo is a high-profile fashion designer in Nigeria who has styled the likes of Banky W and Adesua Etomi. He broke into the fashion industry when he styled top celebrities and performers at the dance reality show “Celebrity Takes Two”.

Mai is known for the perfectly fitting wedding dresses and well-tailored bespoke suits which have won wide acclaim for the apt manner in which they are designed. He has been the designer for several occasions including The Wedding Party which has been the highest grossing Nigerian movie till date. Seeing how Mai has made his name in the fashion industry, it is of no wonder that Mai is a member of the SBA.

Banky W

Bankole Wellington better known as Banky W had his big break in the entertainment industry following the debut of his studio album, “Back in the Building”, in 2005. He is also known for the viral theme song of Etisalat Nigeria titled, “0809ja for life”. The EME boss was a hot topic for discussion when he married Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi in 2017 and had a successful skin cancer surgery on his shoulder. His influence in the music industry and wide appeal make him a bonafide member of the SBA.

Noble Igwe

Renowned blogger, Noble Igwe, who is also known for his “Dress To kill” ways is also one of the gentlemen in the SBA. He is the CEO of – one of Nigeria’s most resourceful lifestyle blogs, which he launched in 2010. He achieved significant success with his blog while joggling a 9-5 which is no easy feat to pull off. Noble, who is ever so stylishly dressed, is a fashion influencer due to the big fashion statements he has made over the years. This list would be incomplete without his name being mentioned.
