Statistics show that the number of email users is expected to grow to 4.3 billion by 2022. This means that email marketing is far from being dead and is one of the best options for businesses around the world.

Let Every Email Come With Stories 

We all love stories. It’s been this way for a long time and it doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. What this means is that you can employ the strategy of telling stories when writing emails. It is not enough to just send prospects emails with vague explanations on how your products/services will benefit them. You also need to hint at the ways in which your business has helped others. Show testimonials from satisfied customers about your brand. This will build a level of trust in your prospect and prompt them to pay attention to what you have to offer. 

Let Your Email Subject Lines Be Catchy 

Many people are accustomed to getting tons of emails delivered to their inbox on a daily basis. While some of these emails get read, a large percentage are barred or just simply ignored. The chief factor that determines if an email will be read or not is a catchy subject line. In order for your mails to stand out from the plethora of emails that get ignored on a daily basis, you should ensure your that they have catchy subject lines. You could experiment with different kinds of subject lines. For instance, ask questions:

“Are you struggling to get views on Youtube?”

This question will elicit a “Yes” from a prospect who is indeed struggling to get views on Youtube. Furthermore, you should also ensure your subject lines capture the exact problems you are proffering to solve for your readers. 

Aim To Offer Value With Your Emails

If your emails do not offer value to your readers, then you have not succeeded in achieving your desired goal. Write your emails in such a way that your readers will be looking forward to the next one. This means writing emails that are educative, entertaining, and even inspirational. 

Personalise Your Emails

Since the goal is to target and convert individuals, you should address prospects by their names when sending emails. Also, make use of the second-person pronoun “You” and write using informal language. Remember, you want to catch the attention of prospects so personalise your emails.
