Stars Churn Out Songs to Motivate the National Team at the World Cup

Ahead of the world’s biggest football tournament, the World Cup in Russia, some Nigerian musicians have come up with songs to cheer the Nigerian team on to victory. One of the songs has even been adopted as the official song of the Super Eagles at the 2018 Soccer Mundial.

Olamide × Phyno – Road 2 Russia (Dem Go Hear Am)
The duo of Olamide and Phyno, who are popular for singing in their native languages collaborate on this banging new song ‘Dem Go Hear Am’, dedicated to the Super Eagles. The song has been adopted as the official Super Eagles theme song for the World Cup in Russia as recognised by the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF).
The beat was produced by Pheelz.

Adekunle Gold ft Mayorkun – Believe Anthem
Another collaboration has also yielded the ‘Believe Anthem’, this time it’s Adekunle Gold and Mayorkun who team up on the song. ‘Believe Anthem’ is a song intended to get the Nigerian male senior national team motivated for the tournament. It talks about the team coming home with the trophy because we love to win. The song has received the backing of Trophy Lager Beer.

Oya Dance – Immaculate Dache
Immaculate Dache released her single just in time. It is a song of celebration for the Nigerian Super Eagles as they head out to battle the rest of the world for the much-coveted trophy.

We wish our darling national team the very best as we anticipate lifting the world cup in Russia in a few weeks.
